Default Cervini cobra r hood

So far I am not happy with the way things are going. I dont think its that hard to R & R a hood, and yet Im ready to rip out my hair.

Trouble is it will not latch closed. I have tried moving the bump stops, I moved the latch under the bumper, and now I am ready to go apeshit and rip the hood off completely.

suggestions???

hmm, i'm not sure how the latch is on a fox body... how far up have you moved it? You may need to drill out holes to get more out of it.
did you try pulling the bump stops totally out to see if that does anything? Is the hood meant for just pins and not really for a latch?

I had to move the latch further to the left to make it work. I guess every hood is different. I got it working now, just have to make some minor adjustments to it.

The trunk however, has me totally baffeled

even if the latch comes undone, there is a hook to keep the hood from flying up. Im not a fan of hood pins unless its a race car. it totally ruins the sleeper look I am going for.
