fwiw the steeda race cowl hood is alot lighter. But its also alot thinner and requires hood pins (something most of us want anyway) Stock hoods are aluminum, thats why fiberglass is heavier. Adding weight sucks for performance so keep that in mind. Tiger racing makes a sick extractor hood available in thin fiberglass or carbon. Its pricey, but functional is pricey. For a daily driver though, the cervini meets the price point, is strong and fits well for sure.
