Default Cervinis Cowl hood

I recently got a Cervinis 2.5 cowl hood for my 05 GT. It was actually a Christmas present from my parents but Santa brought it about 2 years late lol. My dad and i did all of the work on the hood to prep it for paint. He does collision repair for a living so he knew what he was doing. I have nothing but good things to say about the hood. It took us a half hour to take my hood off, get the new hood out of the box and on the car and to line it up. We put the striker bar in and it closed perfectly on the first drop. the hood fit amazingly. My dad has worked with aftermarket fiberglass hoods many times and he said that this hood is by far the best quality and fit he has ever seen in his 33 years of working in that field.

We also installed a set of Mr. Gasket hood pins. That took an additional 9 hours to get everything to line up right. had to take the headlights and bumper out to get the pins where we wanted them. I was very disappointed though to see that after only 1 week of being on the car, the pins already started to rust. Im going to try to contact them to see if they will replace the pins with something better.

Overall I love the new setup. Im going to get the pictures off my camera hopefully within a couple of days and ill try to figure out how to post them up to see what yall think.

I'm looking at one to get rid of some of the heat under the hood. But most of my problem is when I'm going slow.

The cowl looks great. doesnt block too much visibility and its only maybe 15 or 20 pounds heavier than stock. I really dont have a negative word to say about it.
