Review of Goodyear Eagle GT Tires on a 2009 Ford Mustang
So I had these tires recommended to me by a reputable source and finally had them put on my Bullitt rims in May. At first, I was skeptical of the traction ratings and reviews:
Dry Traction: 7
Wet Traction: 8
Snow Traction: 8
Comfort: 8
Noise: 7
Some folks have experienced poor tread life as well.
Though in my experience the past 2 months of driving, I would like to submit my personal ratings and hope that this helps with folks' selection for performance tires.
Dry Traction: 8
Wet Traction: 10
Snow Traction: N/A
Comfort: 9
Noise: 8
I can't really comment on the tread life yet, but I don't see them being 'chopped' up or any real signs of wear so far. I've put almost 5k on them already.
They cost me about $135 a piece (hooked up by a local vendor) and I ended up with an $80 rebate as well. This price is for the tires only, not balancing and such.
All in all, I am very happy with the purchase. No only because of the 'mean' and aggressive styling of the tires...but the rain traction is leaps and BOUNDS beyond that of the horrible stock BF Goodrich tires the car came with.
Hope this helps everyone.
