Default Tci Ratchet Shifter - V6 Shifter - AmericanMuscle.com

TCI Ratchet Shifter for V6 and V8 Automatic Mustangs from American Muscle (AmericanMuscle.com) and Jegs (Jegs.com)

does anyone else have a ratchet shifter in their v6 automatic mustang? It has made my day at the track really fun. I watched the playback of my 1?4 mile run and hearing that thing shifr makes me giddy. I would reccomend this product to anyone that wants that manual shift feel to their automatic transmission

It definitely is I really like mine too! I believe American Muscle sells it now. I got it from Jegs before they had it.

Default thanks

its nice to know there are people out there that dont think a shifter for an automatic is a waste of money. I had a blast with it down at atco raceway. watched a video and it sounds like a stick!

i think anyone that has driven in a car with a ratchet shifter "gets it" but most people that have never driven one/seen one and just dont understand how it works or see a reason for it. The stock unit was so flimsy too and really was too cheap looking.

hey post the video.

What are the benefits off the track for this type of shifter? (besides look) Always wondered.

Hey welcome to the club! How about making an intro post?

I think it serves more than just looking good....it allows you to shift the car better than an auto trans would.....I like mine.....it's so much fun
