Default whats better spray or vinyl

im looking to tint my tail lights and was wondering whats the pros and cons of rattle can tint or vinyl tint for them and if anyone has any tips of advice,

i was thinking the same thing, the only difference i can think is you can take off the vinyl if you get some heat from the cops or you get sick of it

plus if the spray isnt perfect it may look runny or inconsistent

I have done both methods... Ended up getting them sprayed professionally and couldn't be happier.. That's the only way to do it IMO... pay the extra couple of bucks.

ya thats what i was thinking because i want to do the hole tail light except for the reverse lights, and do the side markers so spray would prob be best bet but i wasnt shure and im pritty shure if u spray them and they turn out like crap u can either use rubbing alcahol or wet sand it

I tried the vinyls but they were crap........ dont get them. Just spray it yourself, if you have problems its not that hard to find stock lights off ebay or something.

ok so heres a tip from someone who did his own


dont do it lol jk its really easy to use the spray tint in fact i probably have like 3/4 of a can left if you want it i went with 3 coats and it was way to dark i got stopped all the time ...now i have stock tail lights with sequentials and i painted the recessed portion of the lenses black and clear coated everything and im staying with this for a while i can always lend a hand if you need it
