Default Anyone want some 100LL gasoline?

I've got about 4.5 gallons of fresh sump fuel sitting in a barrel on the side of the truck and i'm not gonna use it, its up for grabs for free if someone would like a little higher octane to run at the track.

Now note, this is a disclaimer for those of you who aren't aware. 100LL gasoline commonly called Avgas features a low amount of lead in it, hence the LL. There is a ton of info out there on how to run it properly, if its good for your car, what to mix with ect. So if you are going to use it, i ask that you do a little research first. I've run it in my old Mountaineer for over 8 months no issue, my buddy ran 100% avgas for 2 years in his 4.0 ranger but knew what he was doing. Also keep in mind this is sump fuel, so it hasn't gone through the filter on the truck. Its 99% clean when we draw a sump, but i'd advise taking just the top 90% of it to air on the side of caution.

Now enough with the disclaimer b.s. Its up for grabs and free 100 octane gas

dont do it

EDIT

Let me elaborate. My understanding is that lead will eat away at the ceramic substrate in your cats. It wont cause a problem today, or tomorrow, but it will hurt them. The only way to run leaded gas through cats is if they are fully metallic. As in no ceramic. American racing makes an x pipe that goes wiht their longtubes that features metallic cats. (yea i have em lol) I dont know of anyone that makes them for regular shorties.

or someone with no cats can properly utilize them. Because i do know that the lead will coat the cats.

i hear if you do fully blown car by turbo with straight through exhaust... leaded is the way to go, high octane and it slows down burning (or something along those lines). but people talk and they are not always right... i should know.
