Default Need help with my interior

my interior is tan (I hate tan and leather) i need to replace the carpets and i am going to attempt to reupholster my seats with the help of YouTube. i want to go with black carpet and seats so that forces me to either order new door panels and trim or paint what i have obviously i want to go the cheaper way and paint it. what are some suggestions on what type/brand paint to use and how to prep the plastic to prevent chipping and peeling?

Well I can't help you with prepping but you should be able to find all the panels for inside your car off a wreck for pretty cheap in black....I believe another member on here did that to his New Edge. As far as the seats, you could either reupholster them or find a stock set of cobra seats or something on ebay.

the seats i definatly want to do myself possabley have an embroydery shop add a logo for me. but i have been looking on craigslist and ebay and not having any luck with finding used black door pannels so thats why im looking for advice on painting it. i havent made up my mind for sure yet because i have seen allot of train wrecks were people have painted it and not to many that turn out good. however im willing to spend the time needed for proper painting.

I did the full swap minus the dash. There are a lot of variations though the years on some parts. Do you have tan or gray panels I can't tell from the pics. I have almost all the gray panels off my car and some charcoal stuff that didn't fit. Lmk if you have any questions about variations or if your interested in the gray panels.
