Default New member, Ian from UK!

Hello there,

I just joined up! My names Ian and I am located on the North-east coast of England!

These are my rides:

1969 fastback - 351w - 3 speed auto - 3.73:1 rear

2005 GT manual - canadian spec with kmh speedo

you are probably wondering why I have joined a club on the other side of the world, I am traveling to NY in December, and would like to pick up some small aftermarket parts for my cars! so hopefully having a look around this forum I will be able to find places to buy ford racing/blue oval parts in NYC

Welcome to the Club! Real nice cars you have there I'm jealous haha. There are tons of good vendors around here so I'm sure you'll be able to get some good parts.

Welcome to the group.... I think you can easily claim the title of "Furthest Away Member". Good luck with the quest for parts....

Welcome to the club, your cars are beautiful! I think you'll enjoy NYC in December, it's all decorated up for the holidays and quite the sight to see.

thanks for the kind comments, the 69 fastback came from Indiana, wanted one for years and finally bought that one around two years ago!

From my research on the net, i dont think i will be able to get many parts for the 69, however was hoping to get hold of some parts for my 2005 gt.

Im hoping to pick up a MGW Short Shifter with handle & shift knob
and also a set of these mirrors http://www.blueovalindustries.com/xt1920.html

as you can probably notice on my car there are "side repeaters" above the GT badges, these are nasty cheap things that were fitted by previous owner to confrom to uk legislation, however a set of them mirrors with the turn signal built in would mean that I could remove the cheap repeaters and get my fenders smoothed

Welcome! Sweet rides you have there! Love the '69!! You are definitely the farthest away.

I spent some time over there last year on business. Worked at RAF Lakenheath but stayed in Bury St. Edmunds. We had some time to do a few day trips...went to Cambridge, and Norwich. Even drove to the coast at Southwold. Beautiful country you live in!

Enjoy your trip to NY!
