Hello,
My name is Mike, my wife Robin & I are from Toms River. We both grew up in NJ & have spent most of our lives in NJ. We just recently moved back to NJ after living in upstate NY for 8 years where we ran a B&B. We have a 69 Mustang Coupe that we are in the process of restoring. I am doing the sheet metal repairs right now. The car originally was built with a 302 & an auto. I am going to either stroke the 302 or stroke a 351 & I have already acquired a 5 speed trans that will mate to the engine. I have replaced the stock 8" rear with a 9" & I am going to run 3.50 rear gears. The car will be used as a weekend cruiser & for going to car shows. IWe have had the car for about 8 years.

Welcome to the stables!! That's awesome I can't wait to see pictures of the process. This is by far one of my favorite year of the stang. Good luck!!

hey welcome! Definitely feel free to start a build thread on it! I may own a modern Mustang but that spurred from the real Classic muscle Mustangs, of which I'd like to own one in the future.

Hi Mike, I'm in toms river too. You should come by and give some pointers on the '65 mustang fastback project I have in my garage. I'm in the middle of sheet metal repairs and can always use a 2nd opinion.
