Hi my name is Paul,
Iam glad I found this site it looks cool.I wanted a Mustang my hole life so far and now I got one.I wanted a 1969 or 1970 but very hard to find in NJ,I came across a 1998 GT and it ran as good as it looked.With 78,000 miles on it I had to have it so now it is in my garge.If anybody has any tips on that year that will be great if you can pm me.Thanks P-51/Paul

welcome to the forum. a very popular swap for the 96-98 GT's is a P/I Swap, it swaps to the Performance Improved heads and you essentially gain HP equivalent to the new edge mustangs.
