Night or Thrills Mustang catches fire

Frantic Ford Mustang funny cars engine explodes during race i have it on video its a little hard to see and catches fire you can see the ball of fire and emergency cars responding Any one there to see it? [also they were throwing t-shirts so people where bumping into me towards the end sorry for the bad recording to the end]

yeah I was there too; couldn't figure out why it took SOOOO long to clean it up and it was all the way at the end of the track.

from your camera perspective, you were pretty much right where I was but I was sitting towards the top of that same section. There was like a 20mph breeze at the top of the stands so I was up there because of the heat!

I've been to a lot of "N.O.T." events and this one seemed like it had the least amount of cars and moved pretty slow. They also, usually, always have 2 or 4 top fuel funny cars or top alcohol cars; not just old school ones. I was a little disappointed in that respect.

I know right there was only one good run and the rest were horriable after this most of the cars would break or loose grip and beacuse of how long this took to clean up not jet cars for the final run
