Default Full Time Job available in Fairfield, NJ

So here is a breakdown of what you need in order to be considered:

-Have a very flexible schedule, we are looking for someone to pickup odd shift hours but a lot of them
-Hard working and motivated. Its a unique job that is a lot of information to absorb from the start but you will be trained on site
-Be able to lift up to 40lbs, climb ladders, walk around on your feet all day long.
-Drive a truck, currently we have an F-550 and a larger Freightliner truck (air brake equipped) but since its all on the airport, you don't need a CDL.
-Have a driver's license and your own vehicle. Randomly once or twice a week you will be dropping pilots off at hotels (good chance for a tip)
-Positive attitude and good work ethic
-Speaks and writes proficient english

If you fufill these requirements here is a description of the job:

-Refueling airplanes, Piston and Turbine
-Towing aircraft and wing-walking the person who is towing
-Marshall incoming and departing aircraft, chock tires, place carpets, cones off area, meet and greet pilot and crew, carry bags ect
-Check oil level and add as directed by pilot/crew
-Perform lavatory services using lav cart or a removable tray from inside aircraft
-GPU (Ground Power Unit) which is used to jumpstart airplanes and run their power systems when the engines are off
-Pre-heat aircraft (though likely not to be done till next winter)
-De-icing (same as pre-heats)
-Sweep and clean hanger floors, FBO lobby, clean bathrooms, take out trash, windex windows, organize equipment
-Answer phones, update log sheet, make hotel reservations, rental cars, charge out customers, make coffee, ice, stock coffee supplies ect
-Wash airplanes, wax airplanes, apply de-ice boot cleaner and protectorate
-odd jobs around the airport such as cutting grass, painting, moving furniture ect

These are most of the requirements of the position. I am going to be straightforward with you, the owner of the company is a pain in the ass, he has ADHD and can be quite a handful since he is cheap. Myself and the GM convinced him to hire another employee for the summer-time since business easily doubles over summer-time for Essex County Airport. We have a very small staff but we are very devoted and work very hard everyday. That being said, on slow days its dead enough to do homework (don't count on too many of them).

If you feel like this position is something you can do and are serious about it, either post here or PM me and i will review your resume and forward it along to the GM. I have just shy of 5 years of experience of working this job and have trained over 20 employees over the years so you will be in good hands.

Oh and i left out the $$ because i don't know what the owner is willing to pay tbh, it will be at least $10 an hour, perhaps $11 but i'm not promising anything, you'd have to discuss that with him should it get that far.
