Default 92 vert project

Whats up guys? i recently picked up a 92 vert roller for dirt cheap. $400 to be exact and figured i couldnt really go wrong at that price. i havent done anything just yet beside take the back seat out. it started out as a 4cyl but the guy i bought it off of already swapped the whole steering column with one from a gt, put in a clutch pedal assembly, pulled the motor, and painted the engine bay. the body is in pretty good condition with the only down fall being some rust at the bottom of the quarters and bottom of the rad support which when feeling it still felt pretty sturdy but i work at a body shop so replacing these parts wont be too much of a hassle.

as for my plans. after christmas i am planning on starting with the suspension and the rear. tubular k member and coilovers then doing a 8.8 rear with 4.10 gears. the only issues i cant figure out are brakes, switching from 4 to 5 lugs, and a nhra approved cage since at atco you need one in a vert if you go faster then 13.5..

will post pics as i take them and i am open for any opinions and tips thanks guys

i have alot of plans just not the money to do it right now. but once i get christmas out of the way then im going to start with the front suspension and the engine bay then the rear and rear suspension and sub frame connectors. the hardest decisions will be to start on the motor after that and just try to refrain from going to atco and getting kicked out for not having a cage or ripping out the interior and find either a place that sells them or a shop to make one and weld it in

as far as the motor i might pick up a remaned 302 shortblock off late model resto and then getting the trickflow 360hp top end kit. i think that would be a solid enough core to build around.
