Default Any "wash it yourself" car wash places around princeton?

Hey guys... I moved out to the Plainsboro/Princeton area almost a year ago. My apartments don't allow car washing, and for the past year I've been washing my car occasionally at best, driving 45 minutes to my parent's house to do it.

Any of the car wash places I've seen have been the automated places and I'm trying to stay away from those... does anyone from the area know of self-service places with just a bay and a hose so I can wash my car without driving 45 minutes?

'Jim

List of Coin Operated (Self-Serve) Car Washes in NJ - If someone wishes to make a sticky list of this, this may just be great!

Found these not too close though but self-serve

Having grown up in that area, unless a rash of self-serve car washes were built in the last 2 years since we fled Jersey, there are NONE that are close. If they are building one in Cranbury I'm sure it will get a ton of business.

One nice thing about PA - there are a zillion self-serve wash places. We also have a new hand wash place, which is where I go - 'cuz I'm too lazy to wash the car myself. It's nice to have the option to pay someone to do it, especially in winter, yet know it's not going through an automated bay.

There is one in South Brunswick, at my job. Right next to the major car wash on route 1. in the same complex. there are 3 self serve bays next to the oil changing place.

WOW that is an experience I hope to never repeat. I went to the one in South Brunswick attached to the Mr Good Lube, all their bays were nasty... The machines had duct tape over certain options, and information written in faded sharpie, and the LED readout on the machine to tell you time, or money (I don't know) didn't work.

Long story short, Nothing worked right... The machine would do whatever the hell it wanted. And neither of the two guys in the EMPTY Mr good lube office could be bothered to come out, walk 10 feet, and take a look because "I change oil dude, I don't wash cars, that guy isn't here today so I don't know what to tell you." (That was after he "went to find the guy" and never came back to tell me no one knew anything). His response was "I heard something going on over there so I assumed you figured it out.
So now I wasted $8 (I know it's not a lot, but whatever) and my car is half washed/half looks like shit, and I'm just aggravated because the guy went out of his way to be an ass when I went back into the office.

So my verdict... you'd be better off tossing buckets of water on your car than going to that shithole.
