Default First Blemish on my Mustang :(

Took the 'Stang to work today. Stopped in a clients office and scraped the front air dam on a curb. Created a nice rash.

NOO!

Grab some very fine grit sand paper and clean up the area by wet sanding. Go to a DEALER and get the touchup paint for your color code and take your time making it look the best you can. Or have a pro do it!

These things happen and it took me 6 years to accept that...As long as it was my fault im ok with it...you throw an egg at my car now we have problems!

I'm so sorry Rob...that makes such a sickening sound too and you know when you go look at it, it's not going to be good. But I think you'll be able to have it fixed and you won't even be able to tell it ever happened

Thanks everyone... I knew it would eventually happen. I've been lucky up until now.

I figured you would It's the first so it hurts the most. Especially when you hear that crunch scrape noise.

Thanks for the advice. I was thinking of trying something like that but since it's on plastic, I'll probably leave it thru the winter and see what a professional repair would cost in the spring. Jon's favorite body shop is on the other side of the town I work in. I might check them out...
