That was cool. I always said I would like a view of the earth from space.But I know if I had the chance I would be too scared.

I've wondered about this myself. I used to be pretty affraid of heights, but I overcame that by driving onthe side of a mountain in alaska with no barrier between me and a 1000 foot fall. Now I've signed up for skydiving! Lol

I see things like this and I can't help but think about the politicians and world leaders who continue to vote for use of fossil fuels, and other practices which destroy this great place that is our home. I don't mean to put my own political bent in here either - I've just taken too many classes to NOT think that. What a beautiful planet we ended up on - we are lucky. I just hope we don't self-distruct.

Nikki, something to sooth your mind on that. A single volcano can cause more damage than every bit of damage ever caused by humans put together and multiplied by ten. We are not as powerful as we would like to think. The Earth is still filtering every bit of pollution we cause as well. The fact that many scientists are working hard to lessen our impact further is even better. So don't worry so much lol. Yellowstone is a bigger and more immediate threat than us.

Oh no I know that Matt. And Yellowstone is pretty scary! Super volcano!

But I still worry - I guess I feel the same way about the planet that I do about animals which are absued, etc. I know I can't save them all but I certainly try to do my part!

Of course driving a mustang probably isn't helping reduce my carbon footprint at all.
