Default October 29, 2011 Halloween Weekend Snow Storm - How Much Snow Did You Get?

I don't think many expected this Halloween weekend snow storm to be anything big or actually stick to the ground, neither did I, but I did have fun driving my F150 in it!

I was wondering how many inches of snow you all got and hopefully none of you had issues with trees falling on your house or anything. Being that they were still covered in leaves, lots of them came down by me, even the top of one tree that was taller than 5 stories high just split and fell in my neighbors yard.

I heard from friends in W. Milford and they said they got 19.5" and have no power. Heard Vernon had about the same and same situation with the power...

Out here in Bucks County we are guessing it's 8-10 inches. Steve already went out and he says the roads are fine. The issue here is the tree damage/power lines. The tree right next to our door split down the middle yesterday. I can't imagine what I'll encounter when I try to go to work tomorrow - if I come across more than one downed tree/closed road/other obstruction, I am turning around and going home!

Everyone stay safe.

ouch thats alot of Snow Chris! Yeah down trees is going to be a big issue, wouldn't be surprised if most places don't have power still tomorrow with the amount of trees expected to have come down. If Wyckoffs out of power, usually goes out even with a rain storm, I wont have to go to work on Monday lol

Wink

We got 16 inches here in Budd Lake, but thank God we didn't lose power. Needless to say, not going to the races today lol!

We only got 4-6 inches but it was so sticky and heavy that it knocked limbs down everywhere. My power is out and the roads are a major mess.
