Default pick up the phone!

I bought my gt at netcong ford dealer. When calling for service for my stang you just get a message that they will call you back. I thought they were busy till i called four more times.they just say they will call you back.after giving them 34k for my gt i expected more. My family bought more than 10 cars off them. Makes me think who laid off the receptionist? I switched to a ford dealer just as close to my house because they answer the service phone, instead of a recording asking for your phone number to call you back.

oh yeah I agree, service like that is a big turn-off. Some dealers don't understand that the Service department is their biggest revenue stream....I work on dealer websites everyday and they all do good sales but never follow through with service (where the dealers costs compared to what customers pay has a pretty big profit region, just an fyi.)

Customer service has gone down the drain at alot of car dealers and companies in general. They want your money, but don't take care of you after the sale.

WOW!! after 24 years working in new car dealer service depts I NEVER heard of that, we always answered our phones because that usually meant the person on the other end of the phone had a problem & that meant income for the dealer. The BS the dealers were starting to force on us in the late 90's & early 2000's was the reason I got out of the business in 2003 & NEVER looked back. It wasnt fun any more. Now it is just for a hobby & is fun again.
