I just need to vent about a recent order from CJ Pony.
They had some really good prices from Black Firday weekend on some stuff and I bought a few things I had been wanting for my new toy, the Mustang. I got a set of the Sequential Tail lights, the Intake Plenum Cover & Hardware and lastly some black Shock Tower Covers. All this for only $230. Good deal.
Well Monday I got one big box and thought it was all in there. WRONG, only the Plenum Cover and Sequentials were in there. So I call, they shipped the Tower caps and the Hardware to attach the Plenum Cover via USPS.
So now I have the cover and not the screws needed to attach it. Mind you I live in Bristol PA and they are in Harrisburg PA, 2 hours away. The shipped it Priority Mail and it's still not here.
I guess I am just dumbfounded by why they didn't put it all in this big huge box fedex delivered Monday. It makes no sense!
Don't feel too bad, I had a package coming in that GoPro failed to tell me would require a signature. It came early of course and they left no note on the "first attempt". Today I got a note just telling me I have to now go to the damn hub in trenton to get my freakin camera. WHAT THE FARK.
Oh that's annoying and happened to me once when I lived at home. I had some stuff coming UPS and the tracking number suddenly popped up "address does not exist". Now at that point my parents house had been there over 30 years, they built it. I had to go up to the UPS hub off the NJ Turpike to get it. It was like an hour away.
Maybe they didn't want it to rattle around or something. Sounds like shipping 2 different ways costs them more $$ so i can't see why they'd do that tbh
Cj pony parts is flat out awful about shipping stuff and having it in stock they never tell you when something is back ordered or out of sock till after you pay for it then they give you a half associated excuse

This was my thinking as well.

Yes I have found this is true. If it says ships in 5-7 business days, it's not instock and will be on back order. I only ordered from them because they had good prices on stuff I wanted. I usually stick with American Muscle since I know people who work there.
it's possible that one of the shipments is being drop shipped directly from cj's vendor. happens all the time. good example is i ordered 7 identical network switches. got 4 of them yesterday dropped shipped from vendor's supplier. got the other 3 today. both packing lists show them coming from different locations.
They kind of suck about getting back to you via email too. Now we have goodies coming from them ( we're 2 hours away from them too) and who knows when we'll actually get it.

You know, this is something that I had no thought about. That is possible.
