Default Weird/Best foods in all of NJ/NYC

From the grease trucks at Rutgers to the chicken and rice at Best Halal (53rd & 6th NYC) we all have had some awesome food stories from throughout the nyc metro/nj area. Lets hear some great food stories/best thing to order at some hole-in-the-wall to greatly known places in the area?

I'll start
if you go to the rutgers grease trucks, between 7am and 7 pm go to r u hungry and get my personal favorite the fat sacks or a fat darrel the original. anyone else like the fat sandwiches?

What's not to like about the fat sandwiches. I always go for the fat Darrel. Like you said, it's the original.

That's not far at all from Harold's Deli in the Rariton Center. If you like Kosher style deli food, and a lot of it, it's the place to go.

I like the triple decker pastrami/corned beef combo. Sure it's $50, but you get 10lbs of meat. Bring some friends and skip the side dishes. They're great, but it's just too much food.

I used to go to an auto auction in Manville/Bridgewater area every Thursday and stop at Harold's on the way home. Mike and I would usually split a "small" sandwich and be stuffed. The triple decker is only for special occasions. They have great matzoh ball soup, potato pancakes, etc.

EDIT: I looked at the menu. The triple decker is $57, but they say it serves 5-6 people. Not too bad.

When my wife & I lived in Warren county we loved Hot Dog Johnnys or even Jimmy Buffs in Greenbrook on rt-22.
