What A Snow Storm Mess? 10-29-11 Down Trees, No Power in Sussex County

Hackettstown, NJ received 8-10" of snow on October 29, 2011 - tree branches snapping and hitting the house - no TV, but we had power. ; a true snow storm mess in Sussex County, Bergen County, New Jersey!

damn. we had a japenese maple at our old house in sussex and i love those trees. looks like this was a bad storm for the northwest.

*SIGH* A mess indeed. Our neighborhood is also wrecked. We had to walk to the main office - which is a couple miles away - to get them to manually unlock our garages, and just all the trees are trashed. It really sucks.

Lots of down trees by me neighbor tree fell down and pulled his meter pan from the wall of his house and had no power till this afternoon and when I woke up at 5am tree was blocking my driveway and I had to get it out of the way since I was going to the giants game

So I was doing a lot of cutting with saws this morning lol gladly it didn't damage my fence at all

Tree fell right outside my place. Glad it fell away from our bedroom.

I plowed snow for 12 hours cut and cleaned roads to get home. My road looks like a tornado went through no power for a least a week just like the last storm. I'm running on generator again no problem for us runs the whole house.
