Is anyone else completely turned off by the fact that you cant get one in manual? I'm sure its still a fun car and all I just get bored driving auto anyone else the same way?

I had an '06 SRT8 and that's one of the main reasons if not THE reason I got rid of it. I got bored. It was a really, really nice car but I just wasn't getting my jollies from an automatic like I thought I would. Now Mopar enthusiasts at least have the option of going to the Challenger. There actually was an aftermarket company that made a manual conversion kit with their own tranny. It was very close to coming on the market but then something went wrong. I think part of it was the half-shafts of that time couldn't take the sudden load when dumping the clutch. I don't know what happened to the company, I forget their name.

I was always surprised they didn't offer manual in the chargers and even the jeep srt8 and chrysler 300c. I think they'd all be fun with the manual.

Also I like worrying less about the trans as a whole and instead just beefing up the clutch and flywheel.

autos don't bother me, but i like my 2 door vert

I have both automatic and stick cars....believe me..I get tired of driving a manual trans vehicle. So nice to get in and just put it in drive.
