Default 99 F150 Battery Light

Having an issue with the battery light on my 99 F150. Started flickering last week. Now, sometimes it flickers, sometimes it's on steady, and also sometimes not on at all. Very strange. Yesterday I cleaned the battery terminals real good. No change.

I hooked a multi-meter to the battery and the alternator is putting out 14.7 volts. Not sure what turns the dash light on. Any ideas??

Thanks

There is a very low amp fuse thats directly related to that id check that out. Unless the resistor or capacitor in the alt is having issues
