The only thing that puzzles me with my rattle is that we have had it on a lift with someone underneath on several occasions and it soudns like it is the drivers side midpipe/header connection. It makes a ticking noise, but its almost like a piece of the cat inside broke off and is stuck at the exact location that i am talking about.. It's crazy... I need to take my midpipe off and throw it around to knock the shit out maybe.

And i think cali has laws where you cant have any aftermarket cat.. It must be an OEM unit or soemthing like that. crazy right?! idk if thats in effect for all of us, but it wont stop us from removing our cats and what not

This is why my stock H is still in my garage for inspection. I think it'd take a miracle to pass with the o/r H unless I paid a mechanic that can do the inspection.

cali you cant remove the cats at all but here you can as long as you replace them with cats that will pass inspection.

if you get pulled over and happen to get checked you will receive a $15,00 to $25,000 fine per cat that is missing. this is why i have an aftermarket h-pipe that the cats are knocked out of so i can pass visual inspection.

Yeah, I planned on getting cats put on this(just cut the section out, weld cats in) but I think I may just get a catted X instead, to change things up a bit.

it happens to almost every car on the road. the last shop i worked at they made us take hose clamps and strap them back up. when no one was looking i would rip those shits off and throw them in the scrap metal pile.
