Default WTB: factory 17's from 05-09 Mustang GT

Hey, my brother needs wheels to mount his autocross tires on (preferably before next Sunday's Autocross)

His class requires factory size (diamater, width, and offset) and he has 17" hoosiers, so does anyone have 17" factory Mustang GT wheels?

Bullitt or Machined 17" rims are perfect, tires aren't needed, and scratched/scuffed/curbed/ugly is fine, as long as they're not bent.

Whacha got?

They came off my 08 GT. I think they are 45mm offset ... and I need to measure the width. They only have track miles on them. They are my old track rims. When I upgraded to 6 piston brakes ... well they wont fit.

Jim, I have a set of 17inch stock rims & tires in perfect condition. They are the rims shown in your top picture. I'm available on Friday if you're interested but not on Saturday.

Thanks Greg, they look great. We'll see if my brother can finally beat me now that he's got a set of hoosiers to race on

Great stuff!!!!! I like the look of those rims. I had them as dedicated track rims. After my big brake upgrade they will no longer fit. Now you should not hear any excuses!!!! I like the way you think!

Now if you know any one that wants a set of four 17" rims with snow tires mounted on them let me know. Since I have my Focus now my Mustang has been relieved of its DD job. Unfortunately they wont fit the Focus. My Focus has Michelin Pilot PS3's. (seems like a waste to put high performance summer tires on a Focus ... but that is what she came with.)

I must say .. snow tires on a Mustang work very well. Snow tires on a rear wheel drive car is at least as good as all seasons on a front wheel drive car.

Any interest in the HIDS that Dave has?

Well now I've got an excuse, "If I Had hoosiers and not old Toyos I'd beat you!!" haha

I'll definitely be in the market for snows but a teaching job I had for next year just fell through... so i gotta get a yob first.

Don't need the HID's though, got a new one through the insurance claim

If you need them let me know. I will actively try to sell them in September.
